Butterfly Eyes

Butterfly Eyes was rendered with colored pencils. The concept was originally a customer's idea which I completed as a commission. I then decided to take the psychedelic theme of a butterfly with eyes in the wings further on a new piece, saturating the composition with dark but rich colors. The water visuals shown in most most of my work is still prevalent here. Viewing closely, one can see it dripping from the moon, along with tear drops falling from both eyes. The mood is somber yet energetic at the same time.
